Arena 120 est évalué 4.6 de 5 de 36.
Rated 5 de 5 de par JBL Arena 120 I bought these for surround speakers to use with JBL LSR 308’s in front. They match up very well and create a good surround field. Also the shallow depth keeps them from being too intrusive in the room.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Excellent sound, just what you would expect Bought the 120’s for the back speakers in my 7.1 surround sound system, I have the 130’s in front.. great combination..

Rated 5 de 5 de par Great Sound Quality Beatiful Mids and Highs, great clear bass but not very low, could be enough bass for some. These are fantastic with a sub in any configuration. I tried them as stand alone bookshelves in stereo first, and amazing sound quality, just not enough lower bass for some genre's. I bought them to be my back speakers in a 7.2 system and love them, crystal clear. If I had a 9.2 receiver I would have got 2 more when they were on sale.

What is the max watts they can handle? Also between these & the JBL Control X which is better? I have a Harman Kardon AVR1700 I was going to use for center the JBL Arena 125 C & the the Sub JBL Arena Sub 100P.

Posée par: Scott305
The JBL Arena 120 and the Control X both can handle up to a 100W of amplification. The main difference is that the Control X are made for outdoor use at all weather conditions. The Arena however are made for indoor use and is a great match with the Arena 125C and Sub100P.

Do the 120s require a break in period? Do they work well as main speakers in a 2.0 setup?  I don't want the 130s as they are rear ported.  Thank.

Couldn't hook my phone up to this using an aux cord? I'm looking for a speaker like this for my room.

Posée par: Breckin22
You will need a receiver in order to get these speakers working. If you are looking for an speaker that can play using an aux cord. Please check on our portable speakers at https://www.jbl.com/bluetooth-speakers/

Could you connect your phone into this with a cord of some sort like and aux cord?

Posée par: Breckin22
Unfortunately, you can directly connect your phone to this speaker with a cord or wirelessly. You need to connect this speaker (preferably a pair) to an amp or receiver, then connect your phone to the amp or receiver.

What are the recommended wall mounts for the Arena 120?

Posée par: Rich_Bower
There are no fixed/required distance for mounting the speakers on walls. It would really depend on your listening preferences. For perfectly natural sonic response from the speaker, it should be at least 12” from the wall. As you move the speaker closer to the wall the perceived bass will increase. You can move it as close as you’d like to the wall, to get the desired bass from the speaker, as long as you don’t place the speaker any closer to the wall than the diameter of the port.

My JBL Creature speakers died, would the Arena 120 be excellent replacements?

Posée par: MissK
While the JBL Arena 120 are splendid speakers. Please be advised that you will need a Receiver in order to use the JBL Arena speaker unlike the JBL Creature which uses 3.5 Aux cable. Do these provide a good bass response with out a sub-woofer?

Posée par: Keithb
The ARENA 120 will still provide a good bass response but it will not be maximized unless you pair it with a subwoofer. It only has a frequency response of 100 Hz - 40 kHz so if you prefer a deeper bass response, you ought to add a subwoofer, preferably from the same series.
